Business
begin investing in VoIP
Voice over Internet
Protocol is still in its office technology
stage which is still new, but some
CEOs already swear by it already.
VoIP combines local calls as well
as long distance calls in the U.S.
and Canada for one low price. This
appeals too many businesses that make
calls all over the U.S. all day long.
Along with free long distance VoIP
providers have extremely low international
rates. This also appeals to CEO's
who are looking to save on their telephone
bill.
VoIP allows customers various features
that traditional phone services do
not offer. With VoIP, customers have
the ability to bring their adapter
anywhere in the world and receive
calls on their VoIP line. This allows
employees to take their telephone
numbers with them and do business
on the road via laptop computer or
handheld device. This is a great feature
that is very appealing to international
businesses, whose employees are constantly
on travel.
According to the ITFacts.biz Web site,
10 percent of U.S. business lines
are already using VoIP. After generating
$1.3 billion in 2004, the VoIP industry
projects to be a $20 billion industry
by 2009. Companies investing in new
upgrades are buying VoIP, and if they're
not, then they're wasting money. More
and More businesses are realizing
that VoIP is the way to go and that
it will greatly reduce their telephone
bill and improve their company's efficiency.
